Honeybees to Honey will be presented by Cheryl Haley when Southeast Kansas Audubon Society meets on Tuesday, September 4 at 7:00 p.m. The meetings are held at the Parsons Arboretum, at 2004 Briggs Ave. at the corner of 21st and Briggs in Glenwood Park in Parsons, Ks. Cheryl is a member of Southeast Kansas Audubon Society as well as Montgomery County Beekeepers Association. The program will focus on the life of the honeybee, and how everything works in the hive including how a queen is made, the different jobs that bees have in the hive and how honey is made. She will also discuss the differences in the queen, workers and drones. Those who are interested in learning more about nature are encouraged to join us for our meetings.
