He is Risen, He is Risen indeed! And this changes everything: the incarnation of Jesus Christ (the Son of God fully becoming a man). Jesus Christ took on a human body and nature and became both man and God, John 1:14: “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us.” This changes everything. We now have hope in this world and in the New Heaven and New Earth to come. There is hope in spite of the many troubles and doubts that come against us. What is broken may once again, in the power of the Holy Spirit, become whole again. With the resurrection of Jesus Christ we do not avoid our problems; rather we face them head on with faith in the Living God. For those who become followers of Jesus Christ we not only die with Him (forsaking this world) we will also live with Him. There is hope for all who turn to the risen Lord. This Easter weekend let us come together worshipping God and placing our faith in Him alone.
